Fit to fly testing for international arrivals is regulated by the country you are travelling to, you can use the country checker to see if you must perform a fit to fly test before travelling to your destination.

Day 2, 5 & 8

Since November 2021, the government has offered the fully vaccinated passengers to only take a day 2 PCR testing for international arrivals while arriving in the UK. If you are coming from a red country, then it is compulsory to quarantine in a hotel by the government on arrival, whether fully vaccinated or not.

Fully vaccinated passengers are no longer required to take a pre-arrival test.

For Unvaccinated Passengers

Day 2, 5 & 8

The government requires unvaccinated passengers to take both day 2 & day 8 PCR testing for international arrivals and quarantine for 10 days. Passengers can also take a day 5 PCR test, which allows them to end quarantine early.



If you are travelling from a red country, you will be quarantined in a hotel by the government on arrival, whether fully vaccinated or not.

Pre-arrival antigen test 

Unvaccinated passengers are required to take a pre-arrival antigen test.
