Everything You Need to Know About the PCR Test Home Kit

Claret Diagnostics offers a home collection kit for PCR testing that enables you to take the samples for you or your family in the safety of your own home. After sample collection, send it to our laboratory where it will be processed to see if you are presently suffering from Covid-19. The PCR test home kit comes with instructions on how to conduct the test and the materials needed.

The home kit contents:

  • Swab in a sample collection tube
  • Test request form
  •  Introduction letter and instructions
  • Biohazard plastic bag
  • Prepaid return envelope

How does it work?

Once you get our PCR test home kit, first read the instructions carefully. We suggest the test be conducted by someone who has experience in swabbing but in situations of no experienced person around, follow the instructions guideline.

Twist the swab to open and remove it without touching the soft tip. Stand in front of the mirror; slowly put the swab in the back of your throat and swab your tonsils. Then insert the swab into one nostril and twist for a few seconds. Put the swab into the tube and press it closed. Place the closed swab with a completed test request form, seal and post as soon as possible from any Royal Mail postal point

Claret Diagnostics guarantees the prices of our PCR test home kits are reasonable, considering the costs incurred in delivering our product without any government funding.
